Lighting the Sound

Across three weekends in March 2026, King George Sound will be illuminated in an immersive and meditative light experience.

The National Anzac Centre offers a unique vantage point for this spectacular display, with extended opening hours during this time. Find out more here.

The National Anzac Centre will be closed on Monday 2 March 2026 to facilitate the Tarmac Events Albany Rallysprint.

 

There will be no visitor access to the Albany Heritage Park, including the Princess Royal Fortress buildings and the Forts Store.

 

The National Anzac Centre and Albany Heritage Park will reopen on Tuesday 3 March 2026.
