The National Anzac Centre in Albany has again been recognised as one of the top museums in the country after being ranked one of Australia’s top two museums in the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards for Museums.

Albany soil to grow memorial poppies

A bag of soil was collected from Mt Clarence in Albany yesterday morning for a special project to create a memorial garden at the Australian War Memorial.

The National Anzac Centre and National Archives of Australia have partnered to provide visitors to the National Anzac Centre precinct with complimentary access to the ‘Discovering Anzacs’ online research archive via a technology kiosk located in the precinct.

Due to power line maintenance, the Princess Royal Fortress Barracks buildings and the Forts Store will be closed on 5 July 2019. The National Anzac Centre and outdoor attractions will remain open as normal. Thank you for your patience

The City of Albany took out two awards at the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards at the weekend. The awards showcase the best in the industry and highlight the extraordinary tourism experiences Western Australia has to offer.

The National Anzac Centre  has added to its growing list of accolades by being ranked the #1 museum in Australia in the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards for Museums.

The National Anzac Centre has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for Superior Service.
